A historic village with rural farmland all around it
Carp is a village in West Carleton, out toward Ottawa’s far west end, with a historic core built up around one of the region’s longest-running agricultural events, the Carp Fair. The surrounding area is rural and agricultural, and the community is also known locally for the Diefenbunker, the former Cold War-era underground facility nearby that is now a museum, a landmark most West Carleton residents can point you toward without hesitation. That combination of an established historic village and open rural farmland around it means we handle demolition jobs ranging from small village-lot structures near the fairgrounds to larger rural outbuildings and farm structures out on the surrounding concessions.
